WHAT'S THE PLAN?
Hello Daniel Boone parents and constituents...!
In short, there is no plan without you. I am here to represent YOU, the parents, children, and constituents of Daniel Boone School District. What you've told me thus far is YOU want a school director who represents YOU: Your will, your positions, your choices. As a result, I promise I will engage the community in all aspects of the decision making process. Where there are instances (as we've been told) where detail is confidential, we will address these confidential themes to understand how to 'fix' the lack of transparency between the Board of Education and parents to assure we are both ethically informing the parents and constituents while abiding by confidentiality. "Right to Know" should be part of OUR focus. YOUR priorities have been noted as follows:

Academics must return to the basics: Command of the English Language, the Sciences, Math, Civics, History, and community. Academic excellence: We need to focus on the foundation to prepare our youth -- the future of America. In this respect, I promise to remain committed to your priorities.

Board of Education top-down rigorous management: If / when we consider Federal or State funding, assuring the funding does not come with strings attached. I promise to advocate for YOUR and your children's rights -- not relinquishing your parental rights as well as assuring your children are being brought up in an America where their fundamental Constitutional Rights have NOT been put at risk.

Spending decisions are logical, are anchored off of measurable return on investment, and are assessed for impact across the entire community. If any spending proposal is put forward, the constituents / parents must be provided the detail in which the net-net decision makes sense for YOU. E.g. Would the savings on a School Bus Contract help reduce taxes or at least not increase taxes OR would the community prefer the current vendor regardless of the impact to taxes?

Policy decisions where there is opposition (programs, curriculum, or spend), I promise YOUR solutions will be brought to the table and not simply a top-down adoption without your input.
We MUST partner in the above. This will only work if WE are engaged. I promise to reach out to all on a regular basis who join in on communication . I promise to have meetings / huddles, email blasts, phone blasts, and text communication channels activated where WE can engage 'AS A COMMUNITY'. It only ever works when WE are engaged. In this respect, I promise to have multiple avenues available for you to express your wishes, provide your feedback, and inform decisions.
Now its time to get to work in assuring YOU have a voice in all decisions in YOUR District.
About Me.
In short, I was born in Detroit MI but lived in the UK for many years. I returned to America when when it became clear our American ethos and culture was under siege and I was NOT going to let my America, the last 'free nation' in the world, buckle and collapse. I have a unique perspective as to the importance of maintaining the American ethos as I have seen England move progressively toward socialism in which the citizenry suffer sub-quality services, education, and a future. So, in June of 2020 -- in the middle of the pandemic / lock downs -- I touched down and found my way to Douglassville (Pennsylvania) where I often reflect on the original fight for (establishment of) this nation -- Pennsylvania. Since arriving in Douglassville, I have established roots in local volunteering and community service. I frequently volunteer at Blessings of Hope and the Abundant Life Church in Birdsboro -- in which I was recently baptized and have been blessed with a Christian family. In addition to various community service roles, I am passionate about cooking and often express giving / love in feeding as many folk as possible. I love my BBQ, Smoked Foods, Sauces, Spices, Sautees. If you are a foodie, you are my tribe -- please let me cook for you..>!
As I mentioned, I flew back to America to assure she is not lost. As a result, I've committed myself to the cultural war to assure America remains the beacon on the hill. I am an elected precinct committeeman in Union Township 1 and have helped (with my partner) many local candidates (township, county, state, and national) in their campaigns. I am committed to this community and to this country.
As to my sincere and deep interest in serving on the School Board for Daniel Boone, I believe wholeheartedly, we must invest our time in our children -- the future of this country. We need to assure they have a strong academic framework, strong mentors, strong role models -- inclusive of community, teachers, advocates, and most important, supported parents. If we do not secure the future of our children, here and now, America as we know it will fundamentally change.
For some historical context on who I am: My own education started with a scholarship at the age of 11 years to Arnold Lodge preparatory school in Leamington Spa England. I qualified for the King Edward VI grammar school in Stratford-Upon-Avon (the same school William Shakespeare attended). There I gained a passion for learning that continues to this day. After finishing secondary school, I attended the University of Leicester where I secured a Bachelors Degree in Economics.
Post-university, I became a Business Development Consultant for a New Media Agency at the cusp of the digital marketing revolution. I learned a lot in my time with this business, but I’ve always been a people person and wanted to work in a field where I would have a chance to build relationships with people from all walks of life. My passions collided on this journey as my love of giving by cooking for folk, my love of building strong communities, and my love of building relationships led me to becoming a Kitchen Design Consultant. I excel in this by putting the customer at the center of everything consideration / step. My view has always been, I am here to serve the customers in translating their needs and desires to an actionable reality.

Steeped in history, the school’s most famous alumni was William Shakespeare. It has it’s own chapel dating back to the middle ages and preserved classrooms from this period as well.

Let's build a solid communication plan where I inform you what is on the District Agenda, you provide your thoughts / decisions back to me, and this becomes a constant bi-directional engagement.
Soon, we will have a Newsletter, Email Blast (where you signup), Text Blasts (where you signup), Video Updates (where I push out updates in short videos), Meetings/Huddles to develop action plans and mature solutions, and Social Media pushes where you can receive updates on news in the district. In addition, we'll pull together a District Calendar for those who signup and subscribe.
What you've told me thus far is not everyone is able to attend every meeting BUT this shouldn't stifle us in working together toward representing YOU. In times of old, we leveraged phone chains to stay informed (when we were the students). Today, we can do the same. All it takes is a little organizational effort. Help ME, help YOU.
